瑪莉亞來了！ 7縣市16:00停班停課
【台灣醒報記者譚有勝台北報導】瑪莉亞颱風來襲，7縣市16時以後停班停課！最新資料顯示，瑪莉亞颱風10日傍晚18時起，包括北北基、宜蘭、桃竹苗等7縣市將達停班、停課標準，經氣象局與各地方政府協調後，7縣市地方政府對外公布，下午16時將停班停課。另外，適逢大潮期間，颱風來襲可能會引起暴潮，臺灣西半部、東北部及馬祖沿海低窪地區應防海水倒灌及淹水。
瑪莉亞颱風暴風圈預計傍晚將來襲，針對颱風假，中央氣象局最新風力預測資料顯示，10日傍晚18至24時，包括北北基、宜蘭、桃竹苗等7縣市，將達停班、停課標準（平均風力7級或瞬間最大陣風10級）。
經過氣象局與各地方政府視訊會議協調後，新北市府考量傍晚是民眾下班返家時間，在與北北基地方政府協調後，上午10點宣布「北北基下午1600以後停班停課。」桃園市、新竹縣、苗栗縣也決定在16時起停班停課，宜蘭縣則稍早前公布下午15時停班停課。
中央氣象局觀測，今年第8號颱風瑪莉亞10日清晨8時位在宜蘭的東方約620公里海面上，以每小時28公里速度向西北進行，近中心最大風速每秒53公尺，七級風暴風半徑280公里，仍維持強烈颱風等級。
氣象局預估，暴風圈傍晚就會接觸到台灣北部陸地，且越晚風雨會越強勁，預估颱風影響最嚴重的時間點將落在10日深夜到明天上午，隨著颱風接近，基隆北海岸和馬祖不排除出現12級以上強陣風。
目前颱風陸上警戒範圍為彰化和花蓮以北，另外，氣象局也持續針對全台19縣市發布豪雨或大雨特報，尤其11日適逢大潮期間，颱風來襲可能會引起暴潮，臺灣西半部、東北部及馬祖沿海低窪地區應防海水倒灌及淹水。
截止1030為止，有7個縣市公布下午停班停課，分別是：
基隆市：16時起停班停課。 台北市：16時起停班停課。 新北市：16時起停班停課。 桃園市：16時起停班停課。 新竹縣：16時起停班停課。 宜蘭縣：下午15時停班停課。 苗栗縣：下午16時起停班停課。
